Caroline
Caroline is the deputy headmistress at the local primary school. She is also the Norton’s neighbor and president of the neighborhood watch scheme as well as a member of every other local committee, a likeable but slightly batty busybody who is always organizing charity drives and street parties.
She’s keen to join in whatever the Nortons are up to, especially if she can help Philip in any way. Caroline lives alone, and makes no secret of her interest in him. She thinks Emma and Sophie’s dad needs someone to look after him.
