Rudy Tabootie
Rudy Tabootie is a 10-year-old boy who lives with his parents in a small Midwestern suburb called Plainesville.
When Rudy was eight, he discovered a magic piece of chalk that allowed him to enter an amazing world called, “ChalkZone,” a place where everything that has ever been drawn in chalk, and then erased, reappears and remains forever. Since his discovery, Rudy lives a dual existence, one in the real world, and one in ChalkZone.
In the real world, Rudy is a frustrated adventurer. He longs to go to exciting places and do exciting things but there is no such adventure in Plainesville. When he isn’t in ChalkZone, Rudy’s only ticket to adventure is his art. He draws all time, on every surface possible. Rudy has the heart of a comic book artist, and creates characters that have the adventures that he wishes he were having. In the real world, Rudy is shy and has difficulty making friends. The class bully often picks on Rudy and some of the other kids think he is a nerd. |
