Mr Payne
The bespectacled headmaster of Payne Academy and great, great, great, great, great, grandson of the man who founded the school. Somewhat eccentric (he rather enjoys talking to a stuffed moose head in his office), this kind-hearted character takes a liking to Emma, who is always in trouble. Beneath Emma’s angry exterior, Headmaster Payne sees a nice girl who would fit in nicely at Payne Academy if given the chance. Mr. Payne is the exact opposite of Miss Dowager. He’s patient, sympathetic and a guiding force for our hero. |
