Mila's secret life was revealed to her children when she was kidnapped by the Sphere. Years before, she, a powerful Seijin, escaped the clutches of the Guardian School and joined up with the resistance to defeat the evil rulers of Skyland. It was with the rebels that she met Marcus Farrell, their brave and strong leader. When the resistance was overpowered and Marcus mysteriously disappeared, she retired to a quiet life raising her two children Mahad and Lena, keeping a low profile as not to alert the Sphere to her whereabouts. When her children were threatened, she reacted strongly with her Seijin powers, thus revealing her location to Oslo and the Sphere. To protect them, Mila sent them away to join up with the remaining members of the resistance, where she knew they would be safe.
