What is the Big Help?

The Big Help is a kids-driven community project brought to you by Nickelodeon, the kids' network with a big heart! It is a pro-social campaign that helps kids connect to their communities through volunteering their time and effort.

Nickelodeon discovered that kids want to help but just don't know how to. And because Nickelodeon is really and truly for ALL KIDS, we decided to provide real volunteer opportunities for little ones to make a BIG difference. So in 1994, The Big Help began with a big bang - with a hugely televised Big Help-a-thon in the United States. In 2002, The Big Help came to Asia for the very first time. Since then, it has received heartening feedback, lots of enthusiasm and incredible contributions from the communities.

Every year, The Big Help revolves around 6 basic themes - Visit, Fix, Clean, Give, Share, Care. This 2007, we are going big on SHARING!

How can I help through SHARING?

The Big Help is all about helping others in your community. And SHARING is definitely a good way to start! t doesn't take much to share. After all, sharing is all about giving a part of something that you've already got, no matter how big or small it is. Be as creative as you like - share your toys, your books, your clothes, or even a joke. The possibilities are endless! And sharing not only makes someone happy, it makes you feel good too. WHEN YOU SHARE, YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
