Lizzie is Casey's sister. As the second child, she has developed skills as a compromiser and negotiator. Failing that, she'd like some peace and quiet to pursue her own interests (handstands, card tricks, her rodent pets). Casey thinks she's a goody-goody, but Lizzie has never felt the need to rebel.
Even though Casey can be highly annoying, Lizzie adores her. At the same time, she's no pushover. While kind by nature, Lizzie insists on weighing each situation on its own merits. In fact, this new 'family' thing is okay by her, despite the 'Casey-Derek' issue which she tries hard to ignore. She watches and winces as every week Derek dangles the bait, and Casey bites. Then she does her best to help her big sister from the sidelines.
